In September of 2019, Hannah was a frequent visitor to the ER as she was in the process of being diagnosed with the rare genetic blood disorder, Acute Intermittent Porphyria.
After 2 long years of infusion center visits, and hospitalizations, Hannah continued her studies to earn her B.F.A. in Musical Theater. The arts became her therapy more than she realized.
In September of 2021, Hannah teamed up with SnowCompanies to publicly speak about her patient experiences during her diagnosis. She hopes through sharing her story, she can connect with and empower those in the midst of a diagnosis.
