My visual arts journey began where my career in live theatre left off. Cut short by the pandemic, it felt as though I had effectively “lost my voice” and started living in a world of my own. Whether I use performing arts or visual arts, I am in pursuit of expressing my authentic voice. Currently, images and words are continually inspiring an ever flowing cycle of reflection, interpretation, motivation, and creation. My journey into the visual arts realm has begun.
Imagery Becomes Words, Becomes Imagery
This piece stands as a testament to my mental health throughout the pandemic (March 2020 - December 2020). Utilizing music, film, watercolor and other mixed medias, this journal documented an unknown period in my life. All the while, doing what I do best: creating art.
